Hey Cornerstone Family,

Sunday morning sermons are great, and I put a lot of time into preparing to preach them, so I really do hope they are helpful to you, but listening to sermons once a week isn’t enough to bring about life change. The main habits that leads to spiritual transformation are daily Bible reading & prayer. In 2025 I’m going to be reading through the entire Bible in one year, and I’d like you to join me. Who’s with me? I’ve done this several times before and it’s been spiritually rewarding every time.

This Bible App will allow you to both read and listen to the audio of the passages each day, or you can just use it as a guide for what you should be reading in your paper Bibles.

THE 2025 READING PLAN:

The Bible Recap With Tara-Leigh CobbleIt

It walks you through the Bible in order as the events happened (as best as can be guessed).

Start the FEATURED PLAN on January 1st, 2025 to read at the same pace as your pastor this year.

Pros to this plan: It’s really cool to see how different parts of the Bible fit together on a timeline. As you read about a certain king you’ll also read the prophets that spoke at that time. As you read a certain story in David’s life you’ll also read the Psalm he wrote at that time. As you read one gospel account you’ll also read the same historical event from other gospels on the same day. Also, there is a free recap video or podcast that you can use that helps answer basic questions.

Cons to this plan: You don’t read in the New testament until the last two months of the year. That can be rough, so if you are a new believer I would not suggest this plan. Try a New Testament in a year plan instead.

If that plan isn’t for you, you’ll also find four other printable PDF Bible reading plans on our Discipleship page. Choose one and make 2025 a year where you seek the Lord in the Scriptures. Most people find new habits hard to do alone and that’s why we encourage you to join a group for accountability.

In Christ,
Andy Deane
